§ Mr. HALLASasked the Minister of Labour if he is aware that the coal merchants of Birmingham are refusing to honour the recent road transport award of the Industrial Court, by which an advance of 5s. has been conceded to carters as and from 31st March; that the carters intend to cease work at the end of this week until a settlement is reached; that this will mean a stoppage of the delivery of coal in the city; and whether he can do anything in the matter?
