HC Deb 28 April 1920 vol 128 cc1256-7W
Major GLYN

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Munitions whether it is the usual custom of the Disposals Board to instruct auctioneers to fix a minimum price upon certain articles, lathes for example, and if that price is not obtainable that such articles will be disposed of as scrap to be broken up before removal?

Mr. HOPE

Instructions such as are referred to by my hon. and gallant Friend are not general, but have been given in certain exceptional cases.
