LISTERasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Munitions if he will expedite the destruction of explosives now being carried out at the National Filling Factory at Quedgeley, near Gloucester, in order to make this factory available for dwellings for working men who are badly wanted in the city of Gloucester; and whether he is aware that there are some 200 men employed at this factory who are proceeding with their work at the slowest rate imaginable?
Mr. HOPEThe destruction of the ex- plosives is being carried out as rapidly as is consistent with the public safety. I am informed that there is no foundation in the suggestion made in the last part of the question.
