asked the Home Secretary what is the purpose of Regulation 13, published under Order in Council in the "London Gazette" of 10th October, 1919, relative to the powers conferred upon the competent naval and military authority to require every person within any area specified to remain within doors between certain specified hours; and to which area is this Regulation being applied?

The purpose of the Regulation is to enable the competent naval and military authority to keep order if occasion arises within any specified area. Up to the present the Regulation has not been applied.
