§ Mr. T. W. BROWNasked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether, in view of the definite pledge given in this House, that the Equivalent Grant for Irish Education will vary according to the amount that may be paid for English education, it is proposed to increase the amount available for salaries of teachers in secondary schools in Ireland in the current year?
§ Mr. MACPHERSONI would refer the hon. Member to the replies given to the questions asked on this subject by my hon. Friend the Member for Belfast University on the 12th May, and by my hon. Friend the Member for the Falls' Division of Belfast on the 26th May last, and to which I have nothing at present to add.
