§ Mr. G. JONESasked the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether the staff of the Imperial Institute have received no war bonus; whether they are the only Government employâs who have not had any war bonus; and whether he will take steps to remedy this grievance, and to give such employâs the benefits of Award No. 84 of the 31st March last relating to Government servants?
§ Lieut.-Colonel AMERYThe question whether the staff of the Imperial Institute are entitled to receive the benefits of the award in question is under consideration, but I may say that temporary increases of salary by way of bonus were granted in September, 1918, and have since been continued.
