§ Mr. McCURDYThe Dried Fruits (Retail Prices) Order, 1918, has been revised so as to fix maximum retail prices for the 1919 crop of dried fruits. The new schedule of prices which has appeared in the Press came into force on 24th October. Orders have also been issued fixing maximum wholesale prices which provide a sufficient margin of profit for the retailer. In these circumstances, no difficulty in connection with supplies of dried fruits is to be anticipated.
