§ Mr. GWYNNEasked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that the new Army Order, under which no officer's marriage after the 13th September, 1919, is recognised, when issued was retrospective, and that no indication was given to officers about to marry of the proposed change; and whether he can see his way to make exceptions where it can be proved that there was bonâ fide intention to marry within a short space of time, especially in cases where officers were in hospital, and were unable to go through the ceremony before the 13th September?
