§ Mr. PRATTAs at 25th instant, plans have been sanctioned by the Scottish Board of Health for 13,194 houses on eighty-two sites. Building operations have commenced at Airdrie, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Hamilton, Paisley, Renfrew, Stirling, Bridge of Earn, Longniddry, Callander, and Leith (Mayfield). The estimated average cost of the houses under erection is £820.
