§ Mr. PEASEThe postman in question was not on the established staff of the Post Office and was not, therefore, eligible for a pension on retirement. He received the gratuity to which his length of service entitled him under the Superannuation Acts. He was retired, not as a result of the accident referred to, but on account of a disease from which he had been previously suffering.
