§ Dr. ADDISONIn reply to the first part of this questian. I would refer the hon. Member to the White Paper which was issued when the Housing Bill was before the House. The present expenditure on the remuneration of those engaged in the Housing Department of the Ministry, who are on a temporary footing, is at the rate of approximately £122,000 per annum. It is not at present proposed to make any further appointments.
