§ Mr. KELLAWAYEight factories under the control of the Ministry of Munitions, including among these Woolwich Arsenal, are now making warlike stores of various kinds. The total number of persons employed in these factories is 26,644. It is difficult to give an exact estimate, but pro-52W bably not more than 50 to 60 per cent. of these persons are actually engaged in the manufacture of warlike stores. In addition to these eight factories the Royal Aircraft Establishment, Farnborough, employs about 2,300 persons on experimental and research work in connection with aircraft.
