asked the Minister of Health if there is any likelihood of the amount of sickness benefit payable under the National Health Insurance Act being increased; and, if not, whether any steps can be taken with a view to this being done?

Dr. ADDISON

The revision of health insurance contributions and benefits, which involves legislation, is under consideration. This question has to be considered in its relation to possible developments of unemployment insurance, and I am not at present in a position to make, any statement in regard to it
