§ Mr. FISHERArrangements have been made with the Surplus Government Property Disposal Board for special facilities to be given to local education authorities and other public educational bodies for the purchase of Army huts to be adapted for educational purposes. The authorities have shown their appreciation of these facilities by the purchase of a large number of such huts. The Board have intimated that, in view of the abnormal conditions at present prevailing they are prepared to consider any reasonably satisfactory proposals for providing necessary accommodation by means of quasi-permanent or temporary structures, or adaptation of existing buildings.
