COWANasked the Secretary for Scotland whether his attention has been called to the fact that Form S 182 is now being issued by the Board of Agriculture to farmers; whether he can state the purpose for which the information called for is required, in view of the approaching expiry of the Military Service Acts; and whether, in view of the necessity for economy in the public services, he will take steps to prevent the further issue of obsolete forms of return?
§ Mr. MUNROThe form referred to is issued by the Board in order to keep them informed as to the supply and character of agricultural labour in which there has been a serious shortage. I am not aware that it is obsolete in any particular, but if my hon. Friend can satisfy me that it is I shall be glad to have it reconsidered.
