HC Deb 18 November 1919 vol 121 c403W
MR. GILBERT

asked the Minister of Transport whether any steps are being taken to apply the recommendations of the Desborough Committee on the Police Pay and Pensions to the police forces in the employ of the railway companies; and, if so, whether the Railway Executive is preparing a scheme for a railway police federation adapted to their special needs?

Sir R. WILLIAMS

I am not at present in a position to say more than that the whole question of the conditions of service of railway police is now engaging the attention of the railway companies.
