Mr. CHAMBERLAINI would refer the hon. Member to my Budget statement on the 30th April last, in which the reason for the increase in the duty on certain private brewers' licences was fully explained. As regards the concluding portion of the question, I regret that I am unable to hold out any hope of a reduction in the duty.
