asked the Secretary of State for War whether any British officers and men assisted General Yudenitch in his last attack on Petrograd; and, if so, whether they suffered casualties and to what extent?

Mr. CHURCHILL

In his last attack on Petrograd, General Yudenitch was assisted by a British Tank Detachment, consisting of twenty-two officers and twenty-nine, other ranks, who went out as volunteers to train the Russian North-West Army in the use of tanks. This detachment has suffered no casualties.
