HC Deb 11 November 1919 vol 121 c250W
Mr. RAWLINSON

asked the Secretary of State for War whether there are a largo number of competent officers holding temporary commissions who have served abroad during the War who are anxious to obtain subalterns' commissions in the Regular Army; and, if so, will he see his way to limit the number of commissions granted from Sandhurst and Woolwich until such officers have been absorbed?

Mr. CHURCHILL

I would refer my hon. and learned Friend to the statement made to-day in reply to an oral question by my hon. Friend the Member for Dulwich.
