Mr. CHAMBERLAINI would refer the hon. and gallant Member to the answer given by the Leader of the House to a similar question on the 20th November, 1918. For the rest, the question of the bases of assessment appropriate to the various classes of income is under consideration by the Royal Commission on the Income Tax.
