§ Sir R. COOPERasked the Prime Minister whether all the interned German ships in the United States have been ceded to the American Government by agreement amongst the Allied Powers; and, if not, what decision has been reached by the Peace Conference on this matter?
§ Mr. GOULDasked the Lord Privy Seal (1) whether he can now state, the disposition of the German ships interned in American, ports in August, 1914; and if he is aware that the delay in making an official statement is causing considerable apprehension amongst the labouring classes whose live-lihood largely depends on ship repairs and ship-manning; (2) if he has received official news that German ships interned in American ports in 1914 are, by decision of the representatives of the Great Powers, to be retained by the United States Government?
§ Mr. BONAR LAWI regret that I can add nothing to the previous replies on this subject.
