Mr. HARMSWORTHThe answer to the first part of the question is in the negative, although a report has been received, that certain of the Bolshevik leaders had been shot by their own troops. The answer to the second part is that His Majesty's Government have furnished the Lettish Provisional Government with some consignments of arms to enable them to maintain their independence against the Bolshevik forces which have invaded their territory
