§ Mr. BRIDGEMANThe number of employés in he Household Fuel and Lighting. Branch of the Coal Mines Department at the end of December last was 381, including 164 at headquarters, and at the present time is 393, including 152 at headquarters. The cost of administration for December was £7,580, and the average monthly cost since that time is £7,388. These figures do not include the cost of services provided by other Departments, such as the Office of Works, Stationery Office, and Post Office
