§ Sir R. HORNEIt is the fact that Mr. E. J. Tyack has been appointed to take charge of the Claims and Record Office at Kew as Assistant Accountant-General. Mr. Tyack has had no previous service in the Ministry of Labour, but he is a Civil servant whose abilities and experience make him specially suitable for the position in question. Before Mr. Tyack was appointed, the claims of other officers in the Ministry of Labour were carefully considered.
