§ Lieutenant-Colonel SPENDER CLAYasked the Secretary of State for War if he will state how many officers or other ranks have been tried by courts-martial for contravention of paragraphs 453 and 454, King's Regulations (Communication to the Press), during the years 1914–18; and whether it is the intention of the Army Council to withdraw paragraphs 453 and 454, King's Regulations, in view of its contravention by senior officers on the active list?
