HC Deb 09 May 1919 vol 115 c1221W
Mr. RAWLINSON

asked the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether any, and, if so, what decision has been come to upon the question of whether masseuses in the employment of the War Office should have their present inadequate pay raised at least to the level of the pay of the masseuses employed by the Admiralty; and what is the reason for the prolonged delay in dealing with this question?

Mr. FORSTER

I am glad to be able to inform my hon. and learned Friend that increased rates of pay have now been approved, and an Army Council Instruction will be issued early next week.
