§ Mr. CHURCHILLMen rejected as medically unfit before 1st January, 1916, who subsequently joined the Colours after the 1st January, 1916, are not eligible for demobilisation under current instructions unless they fall within one of the exceptions specified in such instructions. I regret that at the present time I can authorise no variation of this procedure.
