§ Sir L. WORTHINGTON-EVANSThe surgical appliances of disabled men are renewed at the expense of the Ministry of Pensions, and those of disabled Naval officers at the expense of the Admiralty. Disabled officers at present obtain their appliances in duplicate at the outset, but subsequently bear their own expenses for renewals. I hope soon to have completed arrangements for taking over the supply of surgical appliances for disabled officers, and for treating them on the same lines as disabled men.
