THOMSONasked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware of the number of men of the Royal Army Medical Corps who are eligible for demobilisation under Army Order 55, and who have been with the Salonika force for upwards of two years without leave and are still retained; and whether he will consider the possibility of relieving them?
Captain GUESTIt is not possible to give the figures at present, but the hon. Member may rest assured that every effort is being made to demobilise all men who are eligible, and to replace at the earliest possible moment men who are eligible for demobilisation but have been temporarily retained.
