§ Mr. G. BALFOURasked the Lord Privy Seal whether, in view of certain recent proceedings before the Commission arranged to inquire into coal disputes, members of Commissions and Select Committees of this House will in future be chosen in such a way as to avoid the presence thereon of persons or groups of persons who are rival partisans on the questions in issue, and to secure the services of persons who are in a position to act impartially and judicially in the interest of the public?
§ Mr. BONAR LAWI do not think the course suggested by my hon. Friend would be desirable in such a case as the Commission to which he refers.
