Major BARNESasked the Prime Minister whether, in pursuance of the policy of co-ordinating the powers and duties of Departments given expression to in the Bills for establishing Ministers of Health and Ways and Communications, he will give instructions that the powers and duties of the Directorate of Lands for the War Office and Ministry of Munitions be transferred to the Valuation Branch of the Board of Inland Revenue?
