Mr. T.WILSONasked the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether he is now able to state the result of his inquiry into the question of the employment of 424W soldiers in telephone exchanges ostensibly on military duties but, in cases of emergency, employed on ordinary Post Office duties at military rates of pay, to which his attention was drawn on the 1st August and on the 23rd October last year?
