HC Deb 04 March 1919 vol 113 c237W
Captain REDMOND

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland what assistance, if any, it is proposed to grant to ex-soldiers who before enlistment were, and after demobilisation will again be, small farmers in Ireland; and whether he is aware that in most of these cases the farms have been lying derelict, and that financial assistance will be required to enable them to be worked?

Mr. MACPHERSON

I will consider sympathetically any cases of this nature which may be brought to my notice.
