Lieut.-Colonel Sir F. HALLasked the Secretary of State for War if he will arrange for the publication as a Parliamentary Paper of all the dispatches which passed between the Government or the War Office and the High Command in France in 1915 and 1916 on the subject of the supply of artillery ammunition?
Captain GUESTI would refer my hon. and gallant Friend to the reply given by my right hon. Friend the Leader of the 641W House to a question by the hon. Member for North-East Derbyshire on the 5th June, to the effect that the publication by the Government of isolated documents is not considered desirable. I may add that the Government have under consideration the question of the more general publication, at a later stage, of official documents bearing on the events of the War.
