Lieut.-Colonel A. HERBERTasked the Home Secretary whether, since the increase in pay in the police force has involved an increase in the amount of pensions received by policemen now retiring, he will consider the desirability of increasing the scale of pensions for policemen who retired before the War and whose pensions are inadequate owing to the present high prices?
