Sir A. GEDDES

I am aware of the activity being displayed by America and other countries in endeavouring to reopen, commercial intercourse with Poland to which the hon. and gallant Member refers. The final Report of the British Economic Mission which recently visited Poland is now almost completed, and everything possible will be done to bring to the notice of British firms interested the various recommendations contained in it. As regards the last part of the question, arrangements have been made to facilitate-the issue of passports and permits to suchbonâ fide representatives of reputable British houses as may desire to visit Poland, and also to secure suitable accommodation for them on the Paris-Warsaw train.
