§ Mr. EDWARD KELLYasked the Chief Secretary for Ireland on what grounds the Local Government Board disallowed on appeal the pension granted by the Stranorlar, county Donegal, sub-committee to Agnes Conway, No. 4337; and if the Board had before them any evidence that Mrs. Conway's name appears in the Census records for 1851; and, if so, will he give further particulars as to where such; record appears?
§ Mr. MACPHERSONThe grounds upon which the Local Government Board disallowed, on appeal, the pension granted to Agnes Conway was that her parents were traced in the Census Returns of 1851 and Agnes was found recorded as one year old. The Census was taken on the 31st March, 1851, and the Census Records are kept in the Public Record Office, Four Courts, Dublin.
