§ Mr. MACPHERSONThere are a number of fountains and pillars in various parts of the city of Dublin. No doubt, the general opinion prevails that there is a shortage of them. The matter does not come within the scope of town-planning, nor does the initiative rest with the Local Government Board, and it would be rather difficult to define precisely what was a "sufficient supply" or to make it mandatory upon the corporation to provide them.
