§ Mr. SWANasked the President of the Local Government Board whether, in view of the fact that members of borough councils will have served from six to nine years by November of this year, he will introduce a Bill to enable the whole of the councils to retire this year in cases where this would not be regular procedure?
§ Dr. ADDISONI do not propose at present to introduce legislation to provide for the retirement of all members of borough councils in November next.
