Lieut.-Colonel MALONEasked the Minister of Labour whether, in view of the advantages accruing from the discussion of industrial matters by the co-operation of industrial councils, he will see his way to make some arrangements for the periodical assembling of existing bodies on the lines of the recent meeting at the Connaught Rooms, arranged by the Industrial Reconstruction Council?
§ Sir R. HORNEI am sure that informal discussion of industrial matters between members of joint industrial councils on occasions such as, that to which my hon. and gallant Friend refers serves a very useful purpose. I hope that before long the national industrial council will be set up, which will give an opportunity for similar discussions of a more formal character.
