§ Major WARINGasked the Secretary of State for War whether the separation allowances paid to soldiers serving in Russia, and married since re-enlistment, are on a lower scale than are paid to soldiers serving in the Army of Occupation; and, if so, whether he can see his way to reconsider the decision and place all separation allowances on an equality?
§ Mr. FORSTERI understand the question to refer to the non-payment of supplementary separation allowances to men who have re-enlisted after returning to civil life. These allowances are not payable in such cases.
