Mr. CHAMBERLAINThe net amounts of Excess Profits Duty paid or payable by the coal industry, including certain coke ovens, the profits of which I am unable to distinguish statistically from those of the collieries with which they are associated, in respect of accounting periods ended in the financial years 1915–16, 1916–17 and 1917–18 are estimated to be as follows:
