§ Sir R. HORNEI have been asked to reply to this question. I am sending the hon. and gallant Member a recent issue of the "Labour Gazette," on page 229 of which are given statistics as to the rise in retail prices in the United Kingdom, distinguishing large towns from small towns and villages. It has not been found practicable to publish separate figures for Ireland. Information with regard to minimum rates for agricultural workers is also given on pages 223 and 224 of the same gazette.
