DAVIESasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Agriculture what are the reasons for the unequal application of the Muzzling Order, whereby dogs are required to be led as well as muzzled in some areas, and only to be led in others; and whether he will confine the Order simply to the enforcement of muzzling?
§ Colonel SANDERSThere is no provision in any Order dealing with Rabies that requires dogs to be led only. In certain small areas where the disease is especially prevalent leading as well as muzzling is required as an. additional safeguard.
