§ Lieut-Colonel AMERYThe number of telegrams sent from the Colonial Office on Government service in June, 1919, was sixty-four, and in January, 1919, forty-five; no figures are available for the month of January, 1914. The number of cable messages dispatched last month was, approximately, 1,150, and the same number in January last. In January, 1914, approximately, 350 cable messages were dispatched.
