§ Sir J. CRAIGThe Circular referred to embodies the decision of the War Cabinet and was issued with their authority. With regard to the last part of the question, I will read an extract from the Army Order of 1st April, 1919, under which these men were re-enlisted
Men who enlist under this Army Order will not be eligible for any grants under the Regulations of the Special Grants Committee of the Ministry of Pensions or the Military Service (Civil Liabilities) Committee.
