§ Sir A. GEDDESThere have been occasional stoppages recently at collieries in the Nottingham district due to shortage of wagons. Special steps have been taken in each case brought to the notice of the Coal Mines Department, and the relief afforded has been effective in minimising stoppages. The whole question of railway facilities at collieries is receiving the attention of the Controller of Coal Mines in conjunction with the Railway Executive Committee.
