§ Mr. McCURDYThe deduction of 2d. per gallon made from the price of milk exported from the South-Western counties and the allocation of the money so collected to a fund which is to be utilised for the benefit of consumers throughout the country, are made under the powers conferred upon the Food Controller by the New Ministries and Secretaries Act, 1916, and the Defence of the Realm (Consolidation) Act, 1914, and the Regulations made under the latter Act.
