§ Sir MAURICE DOCKRELLasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he is aware that the non-permission to register Victory Bonds in the Bank of Ireland is militating against the purchase of these bonds by persons resident in Ireland; and will he take steps to alter this arrangement?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINI have been in communication with the Governor of the Bank of Ireland on this matter, and arrangements are being made to meet the difficulties arising from the non-existence of a register of Victory Bonds at the Bank of Ireland.
