§ Mr. BRIGGSasked the Minister for Health if it is intended that the National Insurance Audit Department, which it is 1281W presumed is under Treasury control, is to remain a separate Government Department outside the scope of the Ministry of Health, or is it to be now or at any future date transferred and attached to the said Ministry?
§ Major ASTORThere is no intention of transferring to the Ministry the powers and duties of the National Insurance Audit Department, which will, accordingly, remain under the control of the Treasury.
